Dr. Ken Shuttleworth
A native Californian, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, obtained my California Real Estate Broker’s License, and launched an investment real estate firm in San Diego. Pursuing my love of the industry, I became an adjunct instructor in real estate classes at community colleges and universities, earned a MBA in Real Estate from National University and a Doctor of Business Administration from United States International University. In this capacity, I created curricula and hired instructors and occasionally taught advanced real estate courses. Earning a Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM) designation, the highest title available from the National Association of Realtors for those in the commercial and income property specialty, remains an honor.
As the president of corporations, I have overseen the construction of office buildings and developed land ranging from a single commercial building lot up to a 1,500-acre master planned community.
I take pride in following my father’s advice to “always go beyond that which is required”, and have taken it to heart throughout my career. A laser-like focus on the importance of thoughtful client counseling, investment property brokerage, and development, led me to form The Broadmoor Real Estate Group.
